Venice Youth Boating Association Summer Camp
No experience required! Learn to sail with a buddy in the boat and have fun experiencing sailing on our local Bays. Benefits to an early learn to sail program is to challenge the cognitive abilities of young children. Building independence and confidence while introducing them to boats and various water activities.
Sailors MUST be able to swim 50 yards. A swim test will be giving the first day.
Sailors need to arrive each day prepared to sail! We require each sailor to bring:
· Refillable Water Bottle
· Snack (No refrigeration is available on site)
· U.S. Coast Guard Approved Type III Life Jacket (Personal Flotation Device) with whistle attached
· Closed-Toe Shoes to be worn at all times!! (No Crocs or Flip-Flops allowed on land or on water)
· Sunscreen
