Peace River Wildlife Center

Peace River Wildlife Center

Working to protect our native Florida wildlife through rehabilitation, education and conservation efforts.

Off-site Outreach Programs:
Peace River Wildlife Center’s outreach program is intended to educate the public about Florida native wildlife and is suitable for both children and adults. Their programs are offered to private groups, school classrooms and church groups. They also participate at many off-site public events and festivals. Their programs are conducted by Their professional educational speakers and trained wild animal handlers. These programs feature their Educational Ambassador animals.

Volunteering:
PRWC typically has over 100 permanently injured residents and admits over 2,500 patients per year. If you have a few hours a week that you can commit to our wildlife, these wild animals can sure use your help! As a PRWC volunteer you will commit to a regular weekly schedule, to be determined. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer
