The park site is located in Venice, (at the intersection of Taylor Ranch Trail and Tamiami Trail) and is adjacent to Taylor Ranch Elementary School. The site is approximately 11.6 acres and is surrounded by several large church properties. The residential community of Plantation is located to the north of the park across Tamiami Trail.
