Join a UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County educator for an evening of family friendly fun to learn all about Florida's fascinating serpent species!
Through a brief, interactive presentation and fun, engaging activities and art projects, families will learn about snakes’ special superpowers, how to identify some common snake species and distinguish between venomous and non-venomous species, and understand why snakes are so important in a healthy ecosystem.
We hope that learning about snakes' cool adaptations and behaviors will help you appreciate these infamous creatures!
This event will be held primarily indoors. It is recommended to bring an extra layer in case you get cold.
Families of all ages welcome, fun activities for kids.
