Childbirth Education
They say that knowledge is power, at NQ&C we take this to heart in our Childbirth Education classes to empower you to have your best birth! Our private or small group classes are built on a foundation of local birth experiences from over a decade of service. This powerful knowledge includes proven strategies to shorten your labor, manage the sensations that accompany birth, and take control of your birth to make it yours!
Birth Doulas
NQ&C Birth Doulas have a high level of expertise in all things related to birth. We are here to support the birth team with informational, physical, and emotional support. We support our clients in their chosen birth environments to include hospitals, birth centers, and home births. Our doulas are experienced both personally and professionally with natural birth, medicated birth, cesarean section, and VBAC births.
Postpartum Doulas
Our Postpartum Doulas assist in your home to help provide support that is “mother centered” to alleviate any fears or anxiety that accompany bringing home your new addition. This support includes research-based educational support, baby care basics, and how to care for your body during the postpartum healing process. We also provide emotional support for the whole family as well as feeding support to establish a solid foundation for you new normal.
Newborn Night Nanny
Sleep and rest set the foundation for quality family time. At NQ&C we understand the necessity of sleep and the positive impact it has on your life after baby. We offer night time support so you can get your rest and we will care for you, your baby and the entire family. Our doulas will provide night time care so that you can rest assured knowing that your baby is cared for while you get the rest you need and deserve.
Placenta Encapsulation
Our NQ&C Placenta Encapsulation specialists perform the process of preparing your placenta and placing it into capsules for consumption. Benefits of consuming encapsulated placenta for the mother are said to include reducing the risk of postpartum depression, providing HPL hormone (supports lactation), replaces iron from blood loss, and helps mothers experience less hormone fluctuations after birth.
Virtual Support Services
At NQ&C, we embrace and respect the power of technology and provide a wide variety of our services through a virtual platform. This Virtual Support Services platform allows families the flexibility of logging in and connecting on their schedule from their desired setting while receiving the same level of service from your digital doula! We offer Virtual Support Services for Childbirth Education, Birth Planning, Labor Support, and Postpartum Support.

This agency and the level of services provided to our clients is truly a passion of mine and a labor of love. The relationships and bonds formed with each of my clients is what drives this company. Nicky Quick
Founder & Doula
Nicky is the wife to her high school love, a mother of four children (three boys 16,12, 5 and one little girl who is 2). Nicky has a passion for working alongside parents and children. She started her career as a young teen working with children teaching dance and gymnastics.
After high school, Nicky attended the University of South Florida to work on her Bachelor’s for her K-6 Teaching Degree. As she worked through college, she became certified as a Doula through DONA International and worked to become the proud owner of Nicky Quick and Doula Services. Nicky owned this solo Doula business for eight years. As the business grew, so did her family by two more babies.
Nicky made the hard decision to start an agency taking on a new passion for training and mentoring more doulas to duplicate her skills and provide the level of service established over years of experience and dedication to her clients. By starting the agency, Nicky was better able to maintain a healthy work life balance to ensure her cup was always full. With this in mind, Nicky is always ready and best able to serve her clients at 110%. Nicky is known to quote, “When my cup is full, I am able to fill more cups”. It is this passion and service both to her clients and doula team that represents to core values of the NQ&C family.
Nicky carries certifications and expertise in the areas of Birth & Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Sleep Consultant and Sleep Trainer. When Nicky is not working in and on her businesses, she enjoys being with her family, cooking, listening to podcasts, organizing, boating, and always learning new skills.
