Suncoast Summer Reading Challenge - This Book Is Cool
The Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading (SCGLR) is excited to welcome back our 10-week “THIS BOOK IS COOL!” (TBIC!) summer reading program! This FREE summer adventure is designed to engage the minds of students who will be PreK – Grade 3 students in the fall of 2022 and encourage their continued learning through reading.
To qualify for “THIS BOOK IS COOL!”, your child must be:
• A resident of Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee, or Sarasota counties
• Entering grades PreK to 3rd grade
• Enrolled at a Title I school OR eligible for free/reduced lunch OR from a family that demonstrates need
**This program is designed for families with limited means. If you don't believe your child would qualify but you'd still like to be a part of the program, we suggest making a donation of $80 to Season of Sharing.
