Some of our most fond memories are often of fishing as children. Its a pretty safe bet that you can vividly recall your first trip and can recount every detail of those catches! This is your chance to share in creating those special memories! Captain Van enjoys sharing his forty plus years guiding experiences with kids as they listen attentively and retain every thing we do. What an opportunity for them to learn about fish, wildlife, stewardship of our resources, and enjoy the local waters.
We encounter dolphin almost every trip, and manatee are not an uncommon sight. The abundant eagles, osprey, wading birds, gulls, and terns help keep us keep them entertained in between the fishing action.
We customize this kids fishing trip just for the youngsters; it’s their trip and we do what they want! We’ll fish as long as they are happy; then we can check out the beaches, sand bars, and parks. We can hunt sharks teeth, dig sand fleas (actually a type of small crab!), sand dollars and shells. Take a break by the mangroves and have your pack-lunch or stop by the local tiki bar for a great burger or fish sandwich.
Capt. Van understands that if the kids are busy and smiling then your trip is surely a success! Please take the time to share as much information as you can about your special guests’ ages, special needs and interests with Capt.
