The City of North Port's Parks & Recreation Department and the Social Services Division has established a recreation scholarship fund to help North Port youth who do not have the financial means to participate in recreation programs. The scholarship program provides youth age 17 years and under from income eligible families with exposure to positive recreation experiences that promote physical, mental and social well-being.

Tax-deductible donations to the scholarship program are accepted from individuals, businesses and community groups interested in having a direct, life-enhancing impact on a local child or teen.

To apply for a scholarship, complete the scholarship application form and submit to the City of North Port Social Services Division located at 6919 Outreach Way, North Port FL 34287, at the corner of Pan American and Outreach Way, or call 941-429-3700 for assistance.
